The 100th year of Maria Suarez’s grandfather’s life turned out to be the ideal moment to start a new acquaintance. Manuel is like a child again, a century after his birth.

Manuel, Suarez, and the rest of their family reside in Spain. The family recently decided to prepare a surprise for the adored grandfather.

Bloom is the name they gave to a homeless cat they adopted. Manuel was completely unaware of the situation

“My grandfather did not know anything about this,” Suarez told The Dodo. “When he saw her enter my house for the first time, his eyes lit up with emotion. He has always been a great lover of animals.” It was a match made in heaven. Manuel and Bloom’s excitement and love haven’t faded since their first encounter. In fact, it’s only become stronger over time.

Suarez stated, “My grandfather is 100 years old, and the kitty has given him another 100 years of life.” “He is always on the lookout for Bloom. They spend the entire day playing and even snooze together.” Suarez is so thrilled when she sees them that she’s started chronicling Manuel and Bloom’s time together. Here’s a video of some of the highlights she put together:
